Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Good Samaritan Society - Sioux Falls Village for a few years now, and we're so happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and compassionate, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The community is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend this facility.

This place is amazing! My mom loves living here and she's made so many new friends. The food is delicious and the activities are fun. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for a better place for my mom.

The staff is generally good, but I have had some issues with communication at times. The facility is clean and well-maintained, but some of the activities could be more engaging. Overall, it's a decent place to live, but there is room for improvement.
