Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center for a few months now, and we are so grateful for the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

While the staff at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center is generally friendly and helpful, I have noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of care. There have been times when my mother's needs haven't been met promptly, and I've had to advocate for her more than I expected. However, I appreciate the facility's commitment to providing rehabilitation services to help residents regain their independence.
