Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Oakcrest for a few months now and we are so happy with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable and safe. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the activities program keeps her engaged and entertained. We highly recommend Oakcrest to anyone looking for a compassionate and supportive care environment.

Oakcrest has exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff is so caring and patient, and they truly treat the residents like family. The food is excellent and the activities program is very diverse, offering something for everyone. We are grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our loved one.

Oakcrest is a decent facility, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved. The staff is generally friendly, but communication could be better. The rooms are clean, but the building itself is a little outdated. Overall, it's a good option for those looking for basic nursing care, but there are probably better facilities out there.
