Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at La Dora for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good!

La Dora is a true gem! My mother was hesitant about moving into a nursing home, but the staff at La Dora made her feel so welcome and cared for. The activities are engaging, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for compassionate and quality care.

While the staff is generally friendly, there have been a few occasions where communication could have been better. The facility itself is nice, but I think the activities could be more diverse.
