Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care for a few months now, and we've been very impressed with the level of care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer are great for keeping her engaged and active.

I can't say enough good things about Big Spring Center for Skilled Care. They truly care about their residents and make them feel like family. The nurses and caregivers are incredibly compassionate and skilled, and they provide excellent medical care. The food is also surprisingly good for a nursing home, and the facility itself is beautiful and inviting.
