Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

Cedar Pointe has been a lifesaver for my aging parents! They are so happy and well cared for. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the activities keep them engaged and active. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and loving environment for their loved ones.

The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very kind and helpful. My grandmother has been living here for a few months, and she seems content and well cared for. The food is good, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. Overall, I'm happy with Cedar Pointe and would recommend it to others.

The staff is friendly and does their best to take care of the residents, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care. Some residents receive more attention than others. The activities are good, but I wish there were more options for residents with cognitive decline. Overall, it's a decent facility, but it could be better.
