Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Whitehall for a few months now, and we're very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they've helped her make progress in her recovery. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good!

The staff at Whitehall are doing their best, but it can be tough to get their attention sometimes. The facility itself is a bit dated, but it's clean and comfortable enough. Overall, it's a decent option for short-term rehab, but I'm not sure I'd want to stay there long-term.

I was so impressed with Whitehall! The nurses and aides were incredibly caring and patient. The therapy program was top-notch, and I felt like I made significant progress in my recovery. The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained. I would highly recommend Whitehall to anyone needing rehab or long-term care.
