Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was impressed with the level of care and compassion provided by the staff at Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. My grandmother was a resident there for a few weeks, and she received excellent treatment. The therapists were very helpful in helping her regain her strength and mobility, and the nurses were always available to answer any questions I had.

Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a decent facility, but there are some areas where they could improve. The food could be better, and the communication between staff and families could be more consistent. However, overall, I am satisfied with the care my father received while he was a resident there.
