Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been incredibly kind and attentive to my grandmother. They've made her feel at home and have helped her recover from her surgery. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is pretty good too. I highly recommend this center.

The care at this facility is okay, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention my father receives. Some of the staff are great, but others seem less engaged. The facility is a little dated, but it's clean and the food is decent. Overall, it's a decent option, but it's not perfect.

My mother has been living at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for several months now, and we've been extremely happy with the care she's received. The staff is always friendly and responsive to her needs, and they go above and beyond to make her comfortable. I'm so grateful for the compassionate care she's received here.
