Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Franklin Heights are truly amazing! They are so caring and attentive to my mom's needs. She feels comfortable and safe there, which is our top priority. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend Franklin Heights to anyone looking for a quality nursing home.

My grandmother has been at Franklin Heights for a few months now, and overall we've been happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there have been a few times where communication could have been better. The activities and social programs seem limited, and we wish there were more opportunities for residents to engage with one another.
