Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at River Oaks for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the facility is clean and comfortable. They've helped her regain her strength and mobility, and she's even made some new friends. We highly recommend River Oaks!

The staff at River Oaks is kind and caring, but the facility itself could use some updating. The rooms are a bit dated, and the food isn't always the best. However, the therapy programs are excellent, and my mother has made significant progress since being there.

River Oaks has been a godsend for our family. They've taken such good care of my father during his recovery. The therapists are very skilled, and the nurses are always there to help. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is decent. We're so grateful for the compassionate care they've provided.
