Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at River Valley for a few months now, and I am so happy with the care she receives. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. My mother enjoys the activities and meals, and I feel confident that she is in good hands.

River Valley is a wonderful place! My grandmother has been here for over a year, and she has thrived. The staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.

The care at River Valley is okay, but I wish there were more activities for residents. My father is a social butterfly, and he gets bored sometimes. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I'm not sure it's the best fit for everyone.
