Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Texan Nursing & Rehab for several months now, and I'm so grateful for the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend Texan Nursing & Rehab to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

Texan Nursing & Rehab is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there have been some issues with communication at times. The food is also not very good, but that's a common problem in many nursing homes. Overall, it's a decent place for those who need skilled nursing care, but it's not the best.
