Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Lake Village for a few months now and we are so happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer keep her engaged and active.

The staff at Lake Village is friendly and helpful, but I wish there were more options for activities. My mom is still relatively active and would like to have more choices beyond bingo and arts and crafts. The food is decent but not always the healthiest.

I cannot recommend Lake Village enough. After my dad suffered a stroke, he needed rehabilitation and they helped him regain his independence. The therapists were phenomenal and the nurses were so caring and supportive. We felt like family here.
