Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Colonial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for several months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality senior care.

I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful at Colonial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, but the facility itself could use some updating. It's not the newest or most modern, but it's clean and comfortable enough. The food could be better, but it's not terrible. Overall, it's a decent option for senior care, but there are definitely better facilities out there.
