Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been living at Emerald Hills for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and comfortable. We appreciate that they go the extra mile to make my mom feel at home.

I was impressed with the level of care and attention my grandmother received at Emerald Hills. The staff was very responsive to her needs and worked with us to ensure she was comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.

The staff at Emerald Hills is great, but the food could be better. They do offer a variety of choices, but the quality of the food is not always the best. Overall, it's a good place to live, but the food is a bit of a downside.
