Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Deering's for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make sure she feels comfortable and safe. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are always plenty of activities to keep her engaged. We highly recommend Deering's to anyone looking for a quality nursing home.

Deering's is a decent facility overall, but there have been a few times when communication has been a bit lacking. We've also noticed some staff turnover, but the new staff members seem to be just as dedicated as the old ones. The food could be better, but it's not terrible. We're still satisfied with the level of care our loved one is receiving.
