Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Normandy Terrace for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The activities program is great, and it keeps my grandmother engaged and happy.

I was so impressed with Normandy Terrace when I visited my aunt. The staff was incredibly kind and compassionate, and they truly seemed to care about the residents. The facility itself is beautiful and inviting, and it felt like a home away from home.

The care at Normandy Terrace is good overall, but there have been a few instances where communication with the staff could have been better. I'm hoping that this will improve as time goes on.
