Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. Sorrento is a lovely town, but it can get quite crowded, especially during peak season. The accommodation options were a bit pricey, but the overall experience was worth it.
