Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Greenbrier for a few months now and we are very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always make sure she's comfortable. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good.

The staff at Greenbrier is mostly friendly and helpful, but there have been a few times when communication could have been better. Overall, though, I feel confident that my father is receiving good care here.

We were so relieved to find Greenbrier for my mother. She was struggling at home, and they've been able to provide her with the care she needs to thrive. The rehabilitation program has helped her regain her strength and mobility, and the activities keep her engaged and happy.
