Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Amistad for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure she feels comfortable and safe. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend Amistad to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

Amistad has been a true blessing for our family. My father received excellent rehabilitation care after his surgery, and the staff helped him regain his strength and mobility. The physical therapists were very professional and encouraging, and they worked with him to set realistic goals. I appreciate the compassionate care and support that Amistad provided during a challenging time.
