Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Oakwood Manor for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they really go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is also very clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually quite good! I would definitely recommend Oakwood Manor to anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one.

Oakwood Manor is a true gem! The staff is incredibly caring and compassionate, and they really treat the residents like family. My mother has been here for a year now, and she is thriving. The activities are engaging, the food is delicious, and the overall atmosphere is warm and inviting. I feel so lucky to have found this place for my mother.

Oakwood Manor is a decent facility, but it could use some improvement in terms of communication with families. I've had a few issues with getting updates on my father's condition, but overall, the care he is receiving is good. The staff is friendly and responsive, but I wish there was more transparency and communication.
