Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Cedar Health for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. They also offer a variety of activities to keep residents engaged.

I was hesitant about placing my father in a nursing home, but Cedar Health has exceeded my expectations. They've made the transition so much easier, and my father seems happy and content. The food is good, and there are always activities going on. I highly recommend this facility.

The care at Cedar Health is good overall, but I've had some issues with communication from the staff. It can be difficult to get in touch with them sometimes. However, the nurses are always kind and responsive.
