Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Deer Meadows for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and they have a variety of activities to keep residents engaged.

I was worried about putting my dad in a nursing home, but Deer Meadows has been such a blessing. The staff is amazing, and they've truly made him feel at home. He's participated in several of their activities and has made new friends. We couldn't be happier with our decision.

The care at Deer Meadows is decent, but I've had some issues with communication. Sometimes it's hard to get in touch with the staff, and I wish there were more opportunities for family visits. Overall, it's a decent facility, but there's room for improvement.
