Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother stayed at Gainesville Health and Rehab for a few months after her hip surgery. The staff was so kind and attentive to her needs. She received excellent care and made great progress in her recovery. I would highly recommend this facility.

This is a wonderful place! The staff is so caring and compassionate, and the atmosphere is very home-like. My mother has been a resident here for a while, and she is thriving. I'm so grateful for the excellent care she's receiving.

The care was decent, but I found the communication with the staff to be a little lacking. There were times when I had to follow up on things that I felt should have been communicated to me sooner. Overall, I'd say it's a good facility, but there is room for improvement.
