Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Gretna for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always keep us informed about her progress. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

This facility is truly a gem. The staff is so caring and compassionate, and they go above and beyond to ensure that residents are comfortable and well-cared for. The activities are varied and engaging, and my loved one has made great progress in their recovery thanks to the excellent therapy services offered.

Overall, Gretna has been a decent experience. The care has been okay, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention residents receive. The food could also be improved. However, the facility is clean and the activities seem enjoyable.
