Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother received excellent care at Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and she always felt safe and well-looked after. The facility itself was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of activities to keep her engaged. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

The care at Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center was decent, but there were some communication issues that could have been better. The food was also a bit bland, and there weren't as many activities available as I had hoped. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience, but I think there is room for improvement.
