Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Clarkston Health and Rehab for a few months now, and I've been very impressed with the care she has received. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure my grandmother is comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this facility.

The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, but there are some areas where I feel they could improve. The food could be better, and there's not always a lot of variety. However, the staff is great and they really care about the residents.

My father received excellent care at Clarkston Health and Rehab. He was able to regain his strength and mobility after his surgery, thanks to the dedicated therapy team. The staff is wonderful, and they made a difficult time easier for our family.
