Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Birch Creek were incredibly kind and patient with my grandmother during her recovery. They really made her feel comfortable and helped her regain her strength. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the food was surprisingly good! I would definitely recommend Birch Creek to anyone looking for post-acute care.

Birch Creek is a decent facility, but the communication between staff and families could be better. Sometimes it's hard to get updates on how my father is doing. Overall, the care was good, and he made progress in therapy, but I wish there was more transparency.

I was very impressed with the level of care and attention I received at Birch Creek. The therapists were knowledgeable and helpful, and the nurses were always there when I needed them. I felt like I was in good hands, and I'm so glad I chose this facility for my rehabilitation.
