Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at The Pines for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving. The staff is so kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and loved. The facility is clean and inviting, and the activities are engaging and enjoyable. I highly recommend The Pines to anyone looking for a loving and supportive environment for their loved ones.

We were initially hesitant about placing our father in a memory care facility, but The Pines has been a blessing. The staff is so patient and understanding, and they really work with him to help him feel comfortable and safe. He's participated in several activities and seems to be making new friends. We're so grateful for the quality care he's receiving.

While the staff at The Pines is friendly and helpful, there are occasional communication issues. We've had a couple of instances where we weren't informed about changes in our loved one's care plan. However, overall, we're satisfied with the care they're providing.
