This facility is not rated due to a history of significant quality issues. It is part of the Special Focus Facility (SFF) program, subjecting it to more frequent inspections, increased penalties, and possible termination from Medicare and Medicaid.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I can't recommend Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center enough. The staff is incredibly compassionate and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their residents. My father has been living here for a few years now, and he's thriving. He's made great progress in his recovery, and he's always happy and well-cared for.
